MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Indiana
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated from Baldwin-Whitehall High School before earning both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech Pathology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
I originally began my studies in special education, but soon realized my true passion was in helping people recover from illness, especially those facing communication challenges after events like strokes. That shift led me to speech-language pathology, and I’ve never looked back.
What I love most is the wide range of people I get to work with—from children with developmental delays to adults regaining speech and language skills after injury or illness.
My day to day includes evaluating patients, creating individualized therapy plans, and working through treatment sessions to help our patients meet their goals. I also coordinate care with physicians and discharge patients when their therapy is complete.
One of the greatest joys of this work is offering people hope: hope for recovery, growth, and a better quality of life. Whether it’s a child reaching a milestone or an adult regaining independence through communication, it’s an incredible feeling to be part of that journey.
Every step of the process is about supporting progress and building genuine, lasting relationships with everyone who walks through our doors.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, crocheting, kayaking, and staying active in my church through various ministries. I also cherish spending time with family and friends.
