Megan Kirkpatrick

Born and raised in Connellsville, PA, I graduated from Connellsville Area Senior High School. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to complete my doctorate in Audiology at Salus University.  

I’ve always known I wanted a career that let me help people, though I originally imagined something in teaching or nonprofit work. But once I was introduced to the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders, everything clicked.  

I became fascinated by how complex and vital communication really is, and I knew I had found a field where I could keep learning and growing, both for myself and for the benefit of my patients.  

Each day, I perform diagnostic hearing tests and work closely with patients to find the best treatment options for their individual needs. I also help with projects like putting together our monthly office newsletter. Around here, it’s very much a team effort, and I’m always happy to jump in wherever I’m needed.  

What I love most about my job is the people. Building relationships with patients, often starting from their very first appointment, is such a rewarding part of what I do. I get to be a part of their journey, and that never feels like “work.” Of course, I’d be lying if I didn’t say my office team plays a big part in making each day fun… they put up with my stories even when I barge in at the busiest times!  

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Robbie; our dog, Stone; and our cats. I love book club, family get-togethers, and the occasional stress-free day just lounging with our pets.
