I grew up in Independence Township and attended the Hopewell Area School District. My path into hearing care was a bit unexpected—rather than me finding it, it found me!
After working for a large insurance company that relocated out of state, I came across the opening at ASA. With a background in management and insurance, it felt like a perfect fit. I had no idea at the time just how much I’d come to love this work and the people I get to do it with.
Working for a small company means I wear a lot of hats, which is one of the things I enjoy most. On any given day, I’m managing insurance verifications, overseeing daily operations, and helping to keep the office running smoothly. But I also jump in on the front lines checking patients in and out, answering phones, cleaning hearing aids, and doing minor repairs. Every day is different, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What truly makes this job special for me is the people; our patients are incredible, and so is the team I get to work alongside.
Outside the office, I’m all about family and friends. I love being outdoors: gardening, walking our dog, canoeing, hitting trails, or camping. Although when winter rolls in, I’m more likely to be curled up with a good book and a glass of wine.
